Besides their personal
preference for my movies, the neologism “Hitchkokk“ expresses another
characteristic of the Hitchkokk-Boys. Consisting of the word “hitch“,
which means as much as obstacle, and of the Norwegian word “Kokk“,
meaning nothing naughtier than cook, it becomes clear that we're
dealing here with a bunch of guys who know their craft inside out.
Speaking of “their craft“ I don't necessarily mean their musical
virtuosity, which is of course outstanding, but a rarely seen talent
for writing incredibly good music. Since it is always an indication of
lacking quality, if art is promoted with too many words, I stop here
and leave you alone with the limbs and chords of Hitchkokk.
